Viva Las Vegas | A Girl’s Birthday Trip

Even though what happens in Vegas is supposed to stay in Vegas, we had too much fun to keep it to ourselves!

Karyn (my sister if you’re an internet stranger reading this!) and I both have August birthdays, and so this year to celebrate, my mom suggested a trip to Vegas, and we couldn’t say no! I think it was her excuse to go, since it probably wouldn’t be an ideal trip for my Dad, but nevertheless, it was so much fun.

We explored the strip, ate a ton of super delicious food (always a priority), saw 2 shows, and lost $10 playing Black Jack (the digital version, since we were all too nervous to play at a real table! #newbies).

During our time there, we stayed at the Palazzo which was everything and more. I mean, the bathroom had a double french-door to enter. Yes, the bathroom. The beds has those oversized fluffy pillows (my favorite part of any hotel), and we got upgraded to a room that overlooked the strip on the 32nd floor. No big deal!

I hope you enjoy this little video as much as I enjoyed our time there! I’d do it all again tomorrow if we could!

Thanks for the birthday trip of a lifetime Mom (and Karyn!). Let’s go back next year!

PS – I’ve had a lot of questions about the backpack I’ve been wearing a lot lately, and it’s a Kelly Moore Bag! You can shop for it here (for the record, all her bags are amazing!)

There were a couple times where I thought “wait, is Andra’s hair not blonde anymore??!” because you and Karyn look so much alike! Looks like it was a fun trip! Just a few weeks til Seattle!!!!

Ahhhhh, OMG! This sounded + looked like a great time for you three! I’m going to Vegas in 2 weeks, for a few days with a pal and we’ve gone 4 times in the last 2 years:) I’d never been in my 20s or 30s…….so I guess I’m making up for lost time.
The Palazzo sounds amazing! I can’t believe how many great places to eat exist there. We don’t even go to fancy places except for Mon Abi Gabi…..that place is awesome=the crepes!
So this time we plan to add a few new places along with our must-get-to-one:)

    Do you recommend anything specifically?
