Let’s be real, I’m writing this when I should probably be packing and/or sleeping. We leave for NJ tomorrow (today when you are reading this!), and we couldn’t be more excited to spend Thanksgiving with family (some that we haven’t see since our wedding!).
This Thanksgiving, we are thankful for so, so many things. A family with health and happiness. Friends that mean the world to us. Jobs that bring us true joy. A cozy place to call home.
We are truly, so very thankful.
This past weekend, we got to spend an early Thanksgiving with my family! Our tree is decorated, and the lights are on the house. Since being married and having to switch things up a bit, I’ve learned that celebrating Thanksgiving is more about the time spent with family and friends in celebration, rather than the day itself!
While home this past weekend,
we Brent and my mom made the most delicious Apple Cider Recipe ever! Best part? It’s super simple! If you need an easy go-to/impressive recipe…this is it!
Total time: 15 minutes
Makes 2 quarts!
*We decided to make ours in a crock pot, and put on low heat all day! It was perfect (and hot) for dinner!
We hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving filled with family and friends (and a full belly!). Now, off to pack and leave for New Jersey! Did I mention we are excited?!
